There's not long to wait now until Star Trek Beyond hits the big screen - and it is set to be one of the biggest films of the summer.

Justin Lin takes over the director's chair from J.J. Abrams - who was at the helm of the first two movies - for the first time. However, Abrams is still on board as a producer.
There are plenty of familiar faces returning as Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, and John Cho reprise the roles of Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Bones, Scotty, Chekov, and Sulu.
Idris Elba and Sofia Boutella are the big new additions to the cast list as they take on the roles of Krall and Jaylah.

In Star Trek Beyond, the Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.
The first two movies in the new Star Trek franchise have grossed over $800 million at the global box office and Star Trek Beyond could well be the biggest instalment yet.
