Stanley Tucci has revealed that he is thinking about returning to the director's chair.
Tucci is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood but he has hinted that he might be reuniting with Meryl Streep for a project that would see him return to directing.
Speaking to PA the actor said: "I haven't directed a movie for a few years so I'm ready to do that again.
"I have a couple of movies - one for HBO that I might do with Meryl Streep and one that I might do next year. I shouldn't say anything until we work it all out."
Tucci has directed four feature films during his career; he made his debut in 1996 with Big Night and Blind Date was his last in 2007.
As an actor Tucci has been incredibly busy as he is back as Caesar Flickerman in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
He has also completed work on Muppets Most Wanted, Mr Peabody & Sherman - to which he lends his voice -, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Heat.
Transformers: Age of Extinction is set to be one of the biggest movies of next summer as director Michael Bay kicks off a new chapter in the franchise.
It is an entirely new cast and Tucci is joined by the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammer and Sophia Myles.
