Rotten Tomatoes is a site where movie fans can check both critics’ ratings of both new and old films, as well as audiences’; recently, the audience score for Spider-Man: No Way Home came out, and it is the highest in Rotten Tomatoes history.
No Way Home is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) latest entry, and it has struck a chord with fans in a big way. The story follows Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) as he enlists Doctor Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) help in making everyone forget that Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) revealed Spider-Man's identity.
At the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Mysterio, someone Peter thought he could trust, took to revamping Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) technology and setting his sights on London.
When the fake hero was bested by Spider-Man, he told the whole world who the webbed wonder really was, ruining Peter’s life, as well as his best friend Ned’s (Jacob Batalon) and girlfriend MJ’s (Zendaya) futures.
No Way Home received an audience score of 99%, which is incredibly impressive, seeing as though the film has over 20,000 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. There is still so much excitement surrounding this movie, especially among those who have seen it...
The latest MCU feature had the second highest-grossing domestic opening weekend of all time, and has already grossed over $750 million worldwide – in only one week.
Many fans have said that the film is an outstanding masterpiece, and a movie that gave the audience what they wanted. With a combination of Doctor Strange style visuals, an incredible story and stunning performances from the cast, the film has flown to the top of many MCU fan’s list of favourite Marvel movies.
No Way Home is a genuinely breathtaking cinematic experience, and it is clear that Marvel pulled out every stop to create one of the most incredible and thrilling MCU movies to date.
It really is no wonder at all as to why this feature got the amazing reception it did upon release, and there is seemingly no question in many fans’ minds that this movie deserves the 99% audience score it received.
No Way Home not only gave us a sensational film, but it has also increased the hype around Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Doctor Strange 2 is the next entry into the MCU, which is around five months away.
There is also no Marvel and Disney+ series to enjoy while we wait for Doctor Strange 2 to release, but at least there are three films releasing in 2022 (Doctor Strange 2, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) which fans can look forward to.
