Sophie Turner has landed the title role in new film Mary Shelley's Monster.
Mary Shelley's Monster is a new biopic about the Frankenstein author, which will be directed by Coky Giedroyc.
The movie will see Turner star alongside Jeremy Irvine and Taissa Farmiga.
Producer Rose Ganguzza has spoken to Deadline.com about the film and the casting of Turner: "Our film is not a period drama.
"It is a story of youth that transcends time, a gothic romance, a love triangle that involves a dark passenger and we are tremendously excited to have such an exciting cast onboard this wonderful project."
Turner has shot to fame as Sansa Stark in the smash hit television show Game of Thrones: which is the biggest role of her acting career to date.
We are going to be seeing her back on the big screen as she has completed work on Barely Lethal and Alone.
Barely Lethal will see her star alongside Jessica Alba, Hailee Steinfeld & Samuel L. Jackson, while Alone sees her work with filmmaker Matthew Coppola.
Filming is set to begin on Mary Shelley's Monster later this year in the UK and Malta, although a release date is still to be announced.
