A generation of kids - and I include myself - grew up watching Snoopy and Charlie Brown on television and I cannot wait to see this iconic characters come to the big screen for the first time later this year in Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie.
Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie is an animation film that I have been looking forward to for quite some time - and the early trailers have suggested that it is not going to disappoint longstanding characters of these characters.
The movie is based on the comic strip by Charles M. Schulz and sees Steve Martino in the director's chair, for what is his first feature film since Ice Age: Continental Drift back in 2012. With Horton Hears a Who! also under his belt, Martino is no stranger to the animation genre.
A series of new character posters have been released featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, and Linus, and we have them for you to take a look at:
Noah Schnapp and Bill Melendez are on board to bring Charlie Brown and Snoopy to life, while Venus Schultheis, Mariel Sheets, Hadley Belle Miller, and Alexander Garfin will all also lend their voices to this highly anticipated animation film.
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved "Peanuts" gang make their big-screen debut, like they've never been seen before, in state of the art 3D animation. Snoopy, the world's most lovable beagle - and flying ace - embarks upon his greatest mission as he takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis The Red Baron, while his best pal, Charlie Brown, begins his own epic quest.
From the imagination of Charles M. Schulz and the creators of the Ice Age films, Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie. will prove that every underdog has his day.
Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie is released later this year.
