Simon Pegg is set to reprise the role of Benji Dunn for Mission: Impossible 5.
It was revealed last week that Mission: Impossible 5 would be getting a Christmas 2015 release, but no cast other than Tom Cruise were attached.
However, Pegg has now announced that he will be back as the tech expert, and says he is already working hard to prepare.
Speaking to MTV US, the actor said: "Yes, absolutely. I'm looking forward to doing that.
"I've already started eating one carrot a day in order to be in shape. Actually that's not good for you, don't do that!"
Pegg took on the role of Benji Dunn for the first time in Mission: Impossible III back in 2006 and reprised the role in Mission: IMpossible - Ghost Protocol at the end of 2011.
2013 has been a very successful year for Pegg with Star Trek Into Darkness and The World's End both doing well at the box office.
He has already completed work on Kill Me Three Time and Hector and the Search for Happiness, as well as lending his voice to The Boxtrolls.
Pegg is also one of the actors who had been linked with a role in Star Wars: Episode VII - however, no cast members have yet been announced.
