She's Funny That Way marks the return of Peter Bogdanovich to the director's chair in what is his first dramatic feature film since The Cat's Meow. He has also teamed up with Louise Stratten to pen the comedy screenplay.

A classic style New York romantic comedy with touches of classic screwball and a sprinkling of terrific cameos, the former escort reminisces to a reporter (Illeana Douglas) about her rags to riches fairy tale - a chain of events affecting the lives of everyone involved, including Arnold's wife Delta (Hahn), leading man Seth (Ifans), playwright Joshua (Will Forte) and even Isabella's therapist, Jane (Aniston).
