Sharon Stone has called turning fifty in Hollywood 'the new chapter'.
The actress has revealed that being a middle aged actress has given her the chance to have a brand new career, and she is embracing the role and opportunities that are coming her way.
Speaking to New You the actress said: "[You have to] realise when you are 'middle-aged' you have a chance for a whole second career, another love, another life.
"You may be sick of what you did the first half of your life, but you don't have to just walk around and play golf or doing nothing. It's not like 50 is the new 30. It's like 50 is the new chapter."
The actress can currently be see on the big screen in Lovelace, the biopic picture about Linda Lovelace, alongside Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard.
She has also completed work on What About Love, Gods Behaving Badly and Fading Gigolo. She is currently filming Un ragazzo d'oro, which is directed by Pupi Avati.
