Selena Gomez says that she loved working with Ethan Hawke in their new movie Getaway.
The actors team up for the first time in the Courtney Solomon directed action film, and Gomez reveals that she learnt a lot from working with the experienced star.
Speaking to Flicks and Bits the actress said: "I loved working with Ethan, I’m so comfortable with him. He’s a great guy and a great actor. His character Brent is very intense. You can see that he’s extremely broken because his wife is his complete world.
"In the beginning, my character is very harsh with him and hard to get along with. But they spend all this time with each other in the car so they’re obviously going to get to know a lot about each other, whether they want to or not.
"He probably doesn’t realize it, but every time Ethan speaks I take away so many pearls of wisdom. I had my first script, the first draft, when we were rehearsing.
"I would put 'Ethan' on the side and just write down quotes of what he would say because he just have so much knowledge (laughs). I had so much fun working with him and I learned so much."
Getaway is just one of the projects that Gomez has on the horizon as she has also completed work on Rudderless and Behaving Badly.
Getaway is released 4th October.
