Sean Penn is set to lend his voice to 'Angry Birds'.
Penn is being lined up to play a large red feathered bird named Terrence in the forthcoming movie, although his noises are just limited to grunts and growls.
The animated feature, which is based on the popular game of the same name, also features the voice talents of Jason Sudeikis, who stars as Red - an angry bird in an island paradise who just can't catch a break - Josh Gad as Chuck, Maya Rudolph as anger management therapist Matilda, and Danny McBride as the self-explanatory Bomb.
Blake Shelton and Charli XCX will also grace the projects with their musical talents, while the 'Boom Clap' hitmaker will also lend her voice to the character of Willow.
Meanwhile, Sean is set for a busy year as he's just signed on as one of the directors in 'The Last Face'.
The flick, which stars Charlize Theron and Javier Bardem, is set to screen at the Cannes Film Festival next month.
'Angry Birds', on the other hand, will hit cinemas in May 2017.
