Scoot McNairy has hinted that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to be one of the most 'grounded' superhero movies of all time.
McNairy is part of the exciting cast for Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice but it has not yet been revealed who he is going to be playing or where his character is going to fit into the story.
And while the actor gave nothing away about his role of the film, he did drop a little hint as what we can expect from the Zack Snyder directed movie.
Speaking to We Got This Covered, McNairy said: "This is the superhero film that is more grounded in reality than any of the other ones. It's a comic book movie, yes, but it's very, very grounded".
Dawn of Justice sees McNairy team up with Snyder for the first time and is one of the great new faces on the cast list. Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, and Jason Momoa are also joining the franchise for the first time, while Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, and Diane Lane are returning as Superman, Lois Lane, and Martha Kent.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is already one of the most talked about movies of 2016 and looks set to go on to be one of the biggest films of next year - it will also kick off the march towards a Justice League film.
As for McNairy we are going to see him back on the big screen in the new year with Our Brand Is Crisis, which sees him star alongside Sandra Bullock, Billy Bob Thornton, and Anthony Mackie while David Gordon Green is in the director's chair.
The actor is working on War Machine, a movie that will see him star alongside Brad Pitt for the second time. The movie is based on the book by Michael Hastings and is directed by David Michod.
Sleepless Night is another film that McNairy has in the pipeline in what looks set to be a very busy 2016 for the actor.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is released 25th March 2016.
