Saoirse Ronan is rumoured to be wanted by Marvel to play Scarlet Witch in Avengers 2.
It was suggested a couple of weeks ago that Scarlet Witch and brother Quicksilver would be some of the new characters that would be appearing in the second Avengers movie.
Filming is set to get underway on the film early next year and Super Hero Hype have suggested that Ronan could well be on board.
Joss Whedon is currently penning the screenplay and will be returning to the director's chair.
It is not yet known which characters from the first movie will be returning - however Robert Downey Jr is currently negotiating reprising the role of Iron Man in Avengers 2 and Avengers 3.
Avengers Assemble was a $1.5 billion success last summer and Avengers 2 will bring Phase Two of Marvel movies to a close in 2015.
As Ronan we have already seen her in The Host but she will be back in Byzantium, Justin and the Knight of Valour, How I Live Now and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
She is about to start work on How To Catch A Monster - which is the directorial debut of Ryan Gosling.
