Sandra Bullock will not be appearing in a sequel to The Heat.
The actress teamed up with Melissa McCarthy earlier this summer for the Paul Feig directed comedy - a film that was a box office success.
Ever since the film was released there has been talk of a sequel - but Bullock will not be starring in it.
Speaking to TheWrap.com the actress said: "I'm not doing a sequel to 'The Heat'. I've done two sequels. They were horrible.
"What Melissa and I had was beautiful. We might do another film together. I think we should do a silent film together."
The movie grossed over $224 million at the global box office by the end of its theatrical role.
Bullock is back on the big screen this autumn in new sci-fi film Gravity.
The movie is already lighting up the festival circuit and is set to be one of the movies not to miss this autumn.
