Sandra Bullock has heaped praise on her Gravity co-star George Clooney, calling him a 'comfort' on set.
Gravity sees Bullock and Clooney work together for the first time as they star in Alfonso Cuarón's new science fiction film.
Bullock revealed that Clooney wrote a scene for the film and was always on set to lend a hand and support the other actors.
Speaking to Flicks and Bits the actress said: "He's such a professional and he knows exactly what to bring and he brings more - he actually wrote a scene for us that we were struggling with," she explained. "We couldn't find words that didn't sound melodramatic, we couldn't find words that sounded organic and fit."
"He heard we were struggling and sent an email to Alfonso and he handed it [to] me and there was our scene. That's the guy he is, he wants to be a part of a bigger story, he doesn't care what size his part is. With him you get an actor, writer, director, producer.
"He's on set all the time even when he's done and the crew love him, you just want him to be around because he brings the fun. He's so electric, the minute he's on screen... just even his voice, it's so comforting."
Gravity was screened at the BFI London Film Festival last night and is a movie that has been whipping up a storm in recent weeks.
The movie has been playing extensively on the festival circuit and has been gaining critical acclaim from audiences and critics: the movie is tipped to be a major Oscar contender at the beginning of next year.
Gravity is released 8th November. Read out Gravity review.
