Samuel L Jackson says Hollywood can be sleazy.
The 'Django Unchained' actor - who has appeared in over 140 films, including 'Star Wars' and 'The Avengers' - revealed that there is a lot of backstabbing and lies in the film industry.
Quizzed on whether Hollywood is "sleazy", he said: "Parts of it are. People lie to you all the time. It's like the old joke; two agents are walking along the beach, they see a pretty girl and the first guy says, 'Man, I'd really like to f**k her.' The other agent goes, 'Out of what?' "
The 64-year-old actor, whose films have grossed over $8 billion, admitted fame has changed since his heyday.
He told Esquire magazine: "I don't treat myself like I'm special. But there is a whole new phenomenon with fame now that, I guess, if I was a younger person maybe I'd get caught up in. People pay you huge amounts of money to come to a club and just be there so other people will go."
The actor is set to reprise his role as S.H.I.E.L.D. leader Nick Fury in 2014's 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 2015's highly anticipated 'Avengers' sequel.
