Sam Taylor-Johnson has "wicked artistic vision" for 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
The 'Nowhere Boy' director is set to helm Universal's eagerly anticipated big screen adaptation of the best-selling erotic novel by E.L. James, and her husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson has revealed she has come up with some exciting ideas for the film.
He told Female First: "I'm super happy for her and I think she's got wicked artistic vision on it."
The 'Kick-Ass 2' star - who met his wife on the set of 'Nowhere Boy', in which he played the lead role - insists he will not play bondage-loving lothario Christian Grey in the movie despite his connection to the filmmaker.
He added: "I know, and Sam knows, that I'm definitely not Christian Grey and that film is all about casting. It's just a really nice break for me to step back and support her for a while. I think she's super talented I'd love to work with her again no questions asked but this isn't the one."
'Magic Mike' star Alex Pettyfer, 'Vampire Diaries' actor Ian Somerhalder and 'Man of Steel' hunk Henry Cavill have all been linked to the role of Christian Grey, while Emma Watson, Mila Kunis and Alexis Bledel have been touted as frontrunners to play the film's female lead, Anastasia Steele.
'Fifty Shades of Grey' is set for release in August 2014.
'Kick-Ass 2' is in cinemas on August 14.
