Rupert Sanders is set to direct new biographical film Napoleon.
Sanders has been brought on board the project by Warner Bros. while Gianni Nunari is set to produce the movie.
The film has been described as a 'Scarface-like' take on the biographical drama, which should promise plenty of grittiness and bloodshed.
Jeremy Doner penned the screenplay and he has written predominately for television and projects such as The Killing and Damages.
Sander made his feature film directorial debut in 2012 with Snow White and the Huntsman, and this would be his first project since the success of that movie.
His next projects include mafia drama '90 Church' for Universal, 'The Kill List', and 'The Juliet' for Sony Pictures and New Regency.
A sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman is set to go ahead but it is believed that Sanders will not be involved with the project.
As for Napoleon, no cast has yet been announced for the movie.
