Rose Leslie is set to play the lead role in new Dreamworks horro movie 'Haunted'.
Famous for playing 'Game of Thrones' wild woman Ygritte - who is Jon Snow's love interest and one of the most popular characters in the HBO fantasy series - Leslie is now set to take centre stage in the film which is loosely based on the Henry James novella 'Turn of the Screw'.
The 29-year-old Scottish star will join '12 Years a Slave' actress Alfre Woodard, who was announced to be starring in the gothic ghost story last week.
The film is set to benefit from a director with solid horror credentials with '28 Weeks Later' Juan Carlos Fresnadillo at the helm.
In addition to Fresnadillo's fright flick expertise, Chad and Carey Hayes - who wrote 'The Conjuring' and 'The Conjuring 2'- are on script duties.
Leslie will play a young woman who goes to work at an estate only to discover that the house is haunted, as time goes on she begins to believe that the children in the house are also possessed.
Woodward will play a member of staff at the wealthy estate.
Leslie can next be seen in drama 'Sticky Notes' alongside Ray Liotta, and Woodward is set to appear next on the small screen in Netflix series 'Luke Cage' based on the Marvel character of the same name.
