Rose Byrne is in talks for 'The Something' which is about astronauts who get lost in space.
Byrne is in negotiations to star in a film about astronauts who get lost in space, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
She is set to re-team with 'Bad Neighbours' producers, Seth Rogen's Point Grey Pictures, Good Universe and studio Universal, for the film which David Letterman will pen and Rodney Rothman direct.
Byrne - who made her screen debut in 1994 with a small role in 'Dallas Doll' - most recently played mother-of-one Kelly Radner in 'Bad Neighbours'.
She starred alongside High School Musical's star Zac Efron and previously confessed his numerous topless scenes were vital to the film.
She explained: "Well, everybody had their shirts off - me, Seth - no one was safe.
"What I like most about it, though, was that Zac was willing to make fun of his own media persona and the vanity of his character really served a purpose in the film.
"If you work that hard at looking that good, you don't want to be having to wear a shirt."
She will next be seen in 'Annie' and 'Unity' which will be released later this year and has also been cast in next year's 'Spy'.
