Robert Downey Jr says there is not fourth Iron Man film in the pipeline at the moment.
We last saw Downey Jr take on the role of Tony Stark last year when Iron Man 3 grossed over $1 billion and was the highest grossing movie of 2013.
He will be back in that role next year with Avengers: Age of Ultron, but he has disappointed fans who were hoping to see him in a fourth solo film.
When asked about his Iron Man future at the Toronto Film Festival by Variety, the actor said: "There isn't one in the pipe. No, there's no plan for a fourth Iron Man."
Avengers: Age of Ultron will see Downey Jr reunite with Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner for what will be the second Avengers film.
Joss Whedon is back in the director's chair for what is already one of the most anticipated films of 2014.
Downey Jr is back on the big screen this autumn with The Judge, a movie that opened the Toronto International Film Festival at the end of last week.
The Judge will see Downey Jr return to a dramatic role as he teams up with Robert Duvall: the pair will play son and father in the new film.
