Ridley Scott
It has been revealed that Ridley Scott will star casting his new film Wool next year.
Scott will be back in the director's chair for the big screen adaptation of Hugh Howey's novel series.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Casting starts early next year and people are already saying this movie will be the blockbuster to end all blockbusters in 2015."
The first Wool story was released back in 2011 and followed Holston, who is investigating the death of his wife.
Following the popularity of the short piece, Howey wrote more of the story and the tale has since expanded into a series of books.
It has been a busy year for Scott as he has worked on and released drama The Counsellor.
The movie was his first film since the success of Prometheus, and saw him reunite with actor Michael Fassbender.
Scott is currently filming Exodus with Christian Bale, Sigourney Weaver, Joel Edgerton and Aaron Paul.
Exodus is set to hit the big screen at the end of 2014.
There has also been a lot of talk this year about a Prometheus 2 as well as another Blade Runner film.
