Ralph Fiennes has described director Wes Anderson as 'one of a kind'.
Fiennes teams up with Anderson for the first time for his latest movie The Grand Budapest Hotel as part of an all star cast.
Speaking to Collider, the actor said: "I was inspired and, in the best sense, freaked out. I was like, 'Wow, that’s a level of preparation.' Wes is so thorough and particular. He’s very, very, very prepared. He’s awesomely prepared.
"On set, you can feel him sticking to his plan, but he’s also smart enough and wise enough to see the value of playing. It’s like, 'This is my frame. This is what the text is. But, we’ll do lots and lots of takes.'
"You can bring stuff in and rein stuff out, and find the level. It was great. He’s great to work for. He’s one of a kind."
The all-star cast includes Saoirse Ronan, Lea Seydoux, Edward Norton, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson and Tilda Swinton.
We are going to be seeing plenty of Fiennes on the big screen in the new year as he will also star in The Invisible Woman.
The movie will see Fiennes take on the role of Charles Dickens as well as be in the director's chair. This will be his second directorial outing after the success of his debut Coriolanus.
The Grand Budapest Hotel is released 7th March 2014.
