If science fiction is your film genre of choice then Project Almanac could well be a movie not to miss next year, and the brand new trailer for the movie has arrived.
Project Almanac marks the feature film directorial debut for Dean Israelite - he is making the leap from shorts with this movie - while Michael Bay is on producing duties.
This is a movie that will have major elements of found footage that follows a bunch of friends when time travel starts to go wrong. A brand new trailer for the film has been released and it:
Johnny Weston is an actor on the rise with the likes of Insurgent and Taken 3 also on the horizon next year, he is set to lead the cast and take on the central role of David in the film.
The cast list is made of young actors who are trying to make a name for themselves, as Sofia Black-D'Elia, Sam Lerner, Allen Evangelista, and Ginny Gardner are also on board.
A brilliant high school student and his friends uncover blueprints for a mysterious device with limitless potential, inadvertently putting lives in danger.
Science fiction is one of my favourite film genres and there are a string of movies in this genre that I am really looking forward to - Project Almanac looks like one of them.
The trailer did remind me of Chronicle - I know that movie did not tackle time travel - and that movie went on to be one of the best sci-fi films of 2012 and really help launch the careers of Dane DeHaan and Michael B. Jordan as well as director Josh Trank.
