Kit Harington in Pompeii
Check out a buffed up Kit Harington as the first image from Pompeii is revealed.
The actor is set to take on the central role of Milo, an enslaved Celtic gladiator, in the Paul W. S Anderson directed film.
The movie is set to hit the big screen early next year and will follow Milo as he battles to save the woman he loves after Mt Vesuvius erupts in Pompeii.
This is the first big lead film role for the actor as he teams up with Emily Browning, Carrie-Anne Moss, Paz Vega and Kiefer Sutherland.
It has been a busy time for Harington as he has also finished work on Seventh Son and How To Train Your Dragon 2.
And, of course, he will be reprising the role of John Snow in the fourth series of TV smash Game of Thrones. Filming on the new series is underway at the moment.
Pompeii is released 28th February 2014.
