Chris Pratt has revealed that he will appear in a couple of other Marvel movies outside of Guardians of the Galaxy.
We were introduced to the character of Peter Quill for the first time last summer when Guardians of the Galaxy enjoyed both critical and commercial success - a role that send Pratt's star rocketing.
He is set to reprise that role in the already highly anticipated sequel, which is set to hit the big screen in 2017, and we may see the character pop up in other movies and franchises.
Talking about his Marvel future to GQ, the actor said: "I'm tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know.
"Two more Guardians, plus another couple."
Guardians of the Galaxy went on to gross in excess of $774 million at the global box office last summer and is currently the fourth highest grossing Marvel movie so far. James Gunn is back in the director's chair for the sequel and has already begun work on the screenplay.
However, where Peter Quill will make an appearance is yet to be revealed. Filming is already underway on Captain America: Civil War, while Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, and Avengers: Infinity War are some of the movies that are set for release between now and 2018.
As for Pratt, he will be back on the big screen this summer as he leads and all-star cast in Jurassic World. This is the fourth film in the popular franchise and will see Colin Trevorrow in the director's chair for the first time.
Pratt is also set to appear in the remake of The Magnificent Seven, while will see Antoine Fuqua back in the director's chair - this will be the first time that the actor has teamed up with the Training Day filmmaker.
