Paul Rudd has played down talk that he is the favourite to take on the role of Ant Man.
Casting is currently underway for the latest Marvel movie, which will be directed by Edgar Wright.
Rudd has been linked with the role for some time and was believed to be in pole position to land the role of Hank Pym.
Speaking to Absolute Radio the actor said: "Oh, that's all rumours man.There's nothing I know, sorry."
However, Rudd is not the only actor who has been linked to the role of Joseph Gordon Levitt was believed to be another frontrunner.
The movie would see Wright return to the director's chair in what would be the biggest movie in his filmmaking career to date.
Wright has teamed up with Joe Cornish to pen the screenplay, and filming is set to get underway next year.
Ant Man will kick off Phase 3 of Marvel movies and will be released in the summer of 2015; right after The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
