Rudd is best known for his comedy work by Ant-Man is set to be his first big blockbuster role, his role Marvel adventure, and the biggest film of his acting career to date.
Rudd is set to take on the central role of Scott Lang, while Douglas and Lilly are on board as Hank Pym and Hope Van Dyne.
The trio of actors are joined on the cast list by Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Michael Pena, and Tip 'Ti' Harris.
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Ant-Man is set to be one of the must see summer movies and is the second of two Marvel films that will hit the big screen this year. Ant-Man may not have been released yet, but it has already been announced that we will be seeing Rudd make an appearance in Captain America: Civil War next year.
