Paul Rudd says a lot of work has gone into Anchorman: The Legend Continues and he can't believe that it is happening.
It was back in 2004 when we were introduced to the character of Ron Burgundy for the first time and now the sequel is finally here.
Rudd will be reprising the role of Brian Fantana while Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and Christina Applegate will also be returning.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "There are many people who just won't [like it] regardless of what it is.
"Hopefully it will be funny. I know a lot of work has gone into it and it's not something that's just been rifled off. I'm looking forward to it. I can't believe it's actually happening."
Adam McKay is back in the director's chair for the film while McKay and Ferrell have penned the screenplay.
As for Rudd he can currently be seen on the big screen in This Is 40 - the sequel to Knocked Up - while he has finished work on Admission, Almost Christmas and This Is The End.
Anchorman: The Legend Continues is released 20th December.
