Paul Greengrass denies that there is any truth in a rumour that he and Matt Damon are return to return for another Bourne film.
Ever since The Bourne Legacy hit the big screen last year, there has been a lot of talk of Damon teaming up with Jeremy Renner in a future film.
But director Greengrass says that he has moved on from the franchise and hasn't discussed Bourne with Damon in a long time.
Speaking to Empire he said: "Listen, I loved the Bourne movies. I loved making them but it's like anything in life, you've got to move on and do different things."
"We might have a laugh about it, but a serious conversation? Not for a long time."
While it is disappointing for fans that Greengrass will not be back for another Bourne film, he will be back in the director's chair with Captain Phillips.
The biopic movie stars Tom Hanks and follows the title character as his ship is invaded by pirates.
The film will open the BFI London Film Festival next month and is one of the movies to watch out for this autumn.
Captain Phillips is released 18th October.
