Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom is "very happy on Broadway" and is keen to try another show in the future because it's a different experience to starring in Hollywood movies.

The 36-year-old actor made his theatre debut last year after signing up for the lead role in 'Romeo and Juliet', and he insists he'd would like to do another show in New York in the future because it's a different experience to starring in a Hollywood movie.

Speaking at the Casting Society of America's Artios Awards in New York City, he said: "I'm very happy on Broadway and grateful for the opportunity.

"It's very different than Hollywood and making movies. I'd definitely do it again if I found the right show."

Bloom will be back on the big screen this December as he reprises the role of Legolas in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Bloom last played Legolas a decade a go but the character - amongst others - was brought back by director Peter Jackson.

Legolas is also set to appear in The Hobbit: There And Back Again, which will be released next year.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is released 13th December.
