It doesn't look like we are going to be getting a Frozen feature length sequel any time soon, as Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have denied the rumours.
Frozen took the world by storm when it was released back in 2013, going on to gross over $1 billion and become the highest grossing Disney movie of all time.
And while rumours have been circulating that Lee and Buck - who picked up the Best Animated Feature Oscar - are back for a sequel, fans will be disappointed to hear that they are not.
Speaking to BuzzFeed, Buck said: "It's been in the press that we are doing [a sequel], and we would ask each other, 'Are we?' They'd have a date and they'd have a cast and it was like, 'OK...'"
Lee went on to say that it was a big decision just to go ahead with the upcoming short film, and now the team are going to take a break and decide what they are going to do next.
She said: "Like with the short, it was so daunting until we found the story," she said. "Then it was all of the things it usually is and we were thinking of every emotion and moment and feeling. I think that's all we can do. Until we find our way into what's next, emotionally, it will feel too big.
"We just finished the short two weeks ago. One year ago, it was a lot to even think about doing a short. We were quite tired. We don't really know what it's like to stop for a minute and think about what we want to do next."
The short movie Frozen Fever is set to play in front of Cinderella at the end of the month and is set to be a huge hit with fans. The short film will see Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf all returning and follows Elsa and Kristoff as they prepare a surprise birthday party for Anna.
Frozen Fever will play in front of Cinderella, which is released 27th March.
