Director Malcolm D. Lee (Girls Trip) returns to filmmaking duties for upcoming comedy flick Night School, starring Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish in the leading roles, and with producer Will Packer working behind-the-scenes. Following a group of misfits forced to attend adult classes so that they can give the GED exam the best shot possible, the movie holds close Hart and Packer’s signature style of funny. This week, the first trailer for the flick has been released, which you can now check out below:
Also starring Rob Riggle, Taran Killam, and Romany Malco, Night School looks set to bring true comedy back to the big screen.
Hart stars as one of the students in the film, whilst Haddish will play his teacher. Though she’s in a position of authority, she’s clearly a woman with her own issues, which may tend to take priority over bringing her students to success.
Filming for the movie started in Atlanta, Georgia in September 2017, from a story written by Hart, Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matt Kellard, and Nicholas Stoller. We can’t wait to see what the team has come up with!
Night Screen comes to cinemas across the UK on September 28, 2018.
