Nicolas Cage has revealed that wearing a voodoo skull mask helped him get into character for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.
The actor reprises the role of Johnny Blaze in the sequel to the 2007 movie, which is directed by Mark Neveldine & Brian Taylor this time around.
And the actor admits that the skull face helped channel his imagination for the role.
Speaking to The Sun the Oscar winner said: "Who knows if it works or not?
"The point is it stimulated my imagination to think I really was this character.
"And that led me to believe maybe I really was this spirit of vengeance."
Ghost Rider; Spirit of Vengeance is just one of a string of projects that Cage is set to star in this year as Stolen and The Frozen Ground are also set for releases.
Ghost Rider; Spirit of Vengeance is released 17th February.
