Nicholas Hoult says his reaction to a rough cut of Mad Max: Fury Road was 'Whoa'
Hoult is set to return to the big screen next year in Mad Max: Fury Road, which sees George Miller return to the director's chair.
Miller was behind the first three Mad Max movies and this is the first film in the franchise since Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome back in 1985.
Speaking to MTV. com, the actor said: "I've seen a rough cut. I was just sitting there, going like, 'Whoa.'
"It's a 300-page comic book, technically. You have the odd word, but the dialogue, it's strange, the words they used.
"They didn't speak like I would speak, or like anybody would speak nowadays."
Hoult is set to take on the role of Nux in the new film, alongside Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Zoe Kravitz, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Mad Max: Fury Road is just one of the movies that we will be seeing Hoult in next year, as he has already completed work on Dark Places, Autobahn, Kill Your Friends and Equals.
Equals will see the actor team up with director Drake Doremus and actress Kristen Stewart, while Rosanna Arquette and James Corden will team up with the actor for Kill Your Friends.
Hoult has enjoyed huge success this summer with X-Men: Days of Future Past, and work has already begun on the sequel.
X-Men: Apocalypse will be the third time that Hoult has worked with director Bryan Singer as he reprises the role of Beast. Filming is set to get underway next year for the 2016 release.
Mad Max: Fury Road is released 15th May 2015.
