Nicholas Hoult has been cast in Kill Your Friends
Kill Your Friends is a big screen adaptation of the 2008 book by John Niven, and Hoult will play an A&R agent, according to deadline.com.
Owen Harris is in the director's chair for the film in what will be his directorial debut. Gregor Cameron and Will Clarke are producing.
Harris is best known for work in television with the likes of Misfits and Secret Diary of a Call Girl under his belt.
Hoult will star alongside James Piddock who has been cast as Derek Sommers, managing director of the record label.
We are going to be seeing plenty of Hoult on the big screen this year, as he has already completed work on X-Men: Days of Future Past, Dark Places and Mad: Max Fury Road.
X-Men: Days of Future Past will see Hoult reprise the role of Beast as he reunites with director Bryan Singer.
This is their second project together, but the first time that they have worked together on an X-Men film.
