Nicholas Hoult says he felt bad for the other actors who had to do scenes with him in his new movie Warm Bodies.

The film sees Hoult play a zombie who falls in love with a human and the actor admits that he felt guilty for all the work that the other actors had to do for their roles.

Speaking to Collider the actor said: "It's an odd thing to try and do. I just felt bad for the other actors who had to do scenes with me, because there wasn't a lot going on a lot of the time.

"For Teresa (Palmer, who plays R's love interest) she'd have pages of dialogue to rattle off while I just sat there and looked blankly at her."

The movie sees Jonathan Levine in the director's chair while Teresa Palmer and John Malkovich are on the cast list alongside Hoult.

Warm Bodies is a big screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by Isaac Marion.

Hoult has a couple of other projects set for release this year as he is also set to star in jack The Giant Slayer and Mad Max: Fury Road.

He is also set to reprise the role of Beast in X-Men: Days of Future Past - which is due to start filming later this year.

Warm Bodies is released 8th February.
