Twentieth Century Fox this week released the stunning new trailer for their upcoming romantic flick Love, Simon, based on the best-selling 2015 young adult novel Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. You can check out the new teaser below:
Nick Robinson stars in the titular role of Simon; a youngster who’s struggling to come to terms with the fact he’s gay and grappling with what feels like the biggest move he could ever make in his life – telling his friends and family that he’s fallen for somebody of the same sex.
Finding love online, the 17-year-old will go through both hilarious and terrifying times, with moments that are sure to change his life forever. He won’t of course go through any of it alone, and an all-star cast pad out the friends, family and enemies around him.
Robinson stars alongside the likes of Katherine Langford, Alexandra Shipp, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Miles Heizer, Keiynan Lonsdale, Logan Miller, Jennifer Garner, Josh Duhamel and Tony Hale.
Greg Berlanti directs the film from a screenplay written by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.
The official synopsis for Love, Simon reads: “Everyone deserves a great love story. But for seventeen-year-old Simon Spier it’s a little more complicated: he’s yet to tell his family or friends he’s gay and he doesn’t actually know the identity of the anonymous classmate he’s fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life-changing.”
Love, Simon comes to cinemas across the UK on April 6, 2018 from Twentieth Century Fox.
