We are going to be seeing plenty of Richard Gere on the big screen this year and Time Out of Mind is just one of the films that he has on the horizon.
Gere plays a homeless man in Time Out of Mind as he teams up with writer and director Oren Moverman for the first time.
This is the third feature film for Moverman, who has already brought us The Messenger and Rampart during his career. I am looking forward to seeing his collaboration with Gere.
Time Out of Mind is set to hit the big screen next week and we have some great new images for you to take a look at:
Gere takes on the central role of George in the film and is joined on the cast list by Ben Vereen, Jena Malone, Steve Buscemi, Jeremy Strong, and Kyra Sedgwick.
Time Out of Mind follows George (Gere), an increasingly desperate man who finds himself adrift on the unforgiving streets of New York City. When he seeks refuge at Bellevue Hospital, Manhattan's largest intake centre for homeless men, he befriends a seasoned shelter-dweller (Ben Vereen) and begins to find hope of repairing his relationship with his estranged daughter (Jena Malone).
Time Out of Mind is released 4th March.
