While we already know that Thor: Ragnarok will be set primarily on other worlds, there will be parts of the movie set on Earth.
Filming on Thor: Ragnarok is well underway in Australia and new set photos from Chris Hemsworth and director Taika Waititi shows Sydney doubling as New York City.
Hemsworth, who will be reprising the role of Thor, took to Twitter to show that Thor and Loki have an unexpected part time job.
While Waititi also took to Twitter to drop this bombshell spoiler about the upcoming film.
Thor: Ragnarok sees Waititi follow in the footsteps of Kenneth Branagh and Alan Taylor to take over the Thor director's chair for the first time.
Waititi has brought us films such as Eagle vs Shark and What We Do in the Shadows but this is the biggest film of his career to date.
This is the first solo film for the popular character since Thor: The Dark World back in 2013 and sees Hemsworth reunite with Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins, who will be reprising their roles as Loki, Heimdall, and Odin.
However, there are some big new additions to the cast list as we will see Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban, and Tessa Thompson take on the roles of Hela, Grandmaster, Skurge, and Valkyrie for the first time.
We are also going to see Mark Ruffalo reprise the role of Bruce Banner aka The Hulk, as we see this character appear outside the Avengers franchise for the first time.
The plot is currently being kept under wraps but Thor: Ragnarok is already promising to be the biggest film in the Thor franchise to date.
Thor: Ragnarok is released 27th October 2017.
