Into The Woods
Into The Woods is one of the January movies that I am already looking forward to, as it is the latest live action film from Disney.
The movie brings together a string of well-known fairytales and popular characters, and Collider have released a brand image from the film.
Into The Woods boasts one of the most impressive cast lists of 2015, as Anna Kendrick, Johnny Depp, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, Meryl Streep James Corden, and Lucy Punch are just some of the exciting names on board.
The movie is based on the Broadway musical by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim: Lapine himself has penned the screenplay.
Into The Woods also marks the return of Rob Marshall to the director's chair for the first time since Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Into the Woods is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests.
This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel - all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.
Into The Woods is released 9th January.
