The Angry Birds will be coming to the big screen for the first time next month as their new movie is on the horizon.

The Angry Birds Movie is based on the popular video game series of the same name and sees Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis in the director's chair making their feature film debuts.
Jason Sudeikis leads an all-star voice cast as he takes on the central role of Red. And you can sees Red in action in this great new clip from the film:
Sudeikis is joined on the cast list by Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader, Peter Dinklage, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, and Blake Shelton. It was announced earlier this week that double Oscar winner Sean Penn is a brand new and big addition to the cast list.
The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds - or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Sudeikis), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Gad), and the volatile Bomb (McBride) have always been outsiders.
But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it's up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.
The Angry Birds Movie is released 13th May.
