Natalie Dormer has joined the cast of 'The Professor and The Madman'.
Dormer has been confirmed for the movie based on Simon Winchester's best-selling novel of the same name, which tells the story of the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary.
The 'Game of Thrones' star will appear alongside already confirmed names including Mel Gibson and Sean Penn.
The movie - which is being directed by Farhad Safinia - is a project that 60-year-old Mel has been wanting to create since 1998.
18 years later and the project is finally about to happen, with principal photography set to start later this month.
The story follows Professor James Murray - played by Mel - who set about creating the Oxford English Dictionary in 1857, which was one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken. Sean will play Doctor W.C Minor, a man who submitted over 10,000 entries for the dictionary but was also a patient at an asylum for the criminally insane.
Natalie plays a widow whose husband was killed by the doctor.
The movie comes after Natalie recently admitted she was once unemployed for 10 months and was forced to return to an office job for a short while.
Speaking previously, she said: "I was properly unemployed for 10 months - temping in an office again to pay for Christmas presents. That was the best lesson I've ever learnt: you're never home and dry."
However, these days, the threat of being without finances is behind her, and she had the opportunity to pick what jobs she takes.
She said: "I try to look for the thing that is going to challenge me next, for the thing that takes me out of my comfort zone - the thing I'm not quite sure whether I'm going to be able to do or not."
