Mr Peabody & Sherman has triumphed at the top of the UK box office, holding off the stern challenge from RoboCop.
Mr Peabody & Sherman is the latest offering from DreamWorks and took £3.9 million in its opening weekend.
The animation film held off a very stern challenge from RoboCop as the new entries went head to head.
RoboCop is a reboot of the eighties film, as we are re-introduced to the character of Alex Murphy.
The film took over £2.4 million over the weekend, and wasn't quite able to snatch the top spot from Mr Peabody & Sherman.
The Wolf of Wall Street fell two places this week to three, while Dallas Buyers Club was another new entry at four.
The movie sees Matthew McConaughey back on the big screen, with a performance that could well win him a Best Actor Oscar.
12 Years A Slave was down three places this week, while Frozen slipped one spot out of the top five at six.
That Awkward Moment was the biggest faller as it dropped four spots from three to seven. Lone Survivor was down two, while American Hustle fell just a single place from eight to nine.
