Johnny Depp is set to return to the big screen in January as he leads an all-star cast in action/comedy Mortdecai.

Depp is set to take on the title character in the movie, as he teams up with director David Koepp as they bring the Kyril Bonfiglioli novel to life.
Koepp has been behind movies such as Ghost Town and Premium Rush in recent years, and Mortdecai will mark the director's second movie with Depp - the first was Secret Window back in 2004.

Koepp has brought together a terrific cast for the film, as Depp is joined by Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Munn, Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany, Jeff Goldblum and Oliver Platt.
Juggling some angry Russians, the British MI5, his impossibly leggy wife and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rogue Charlie Mortdecai (Depp) must traverse the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumoured to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold.
Depp has made a career out of playing slightly off the wall and eccentric characters, and it looks like Charlie Mortdecai is going to continue that fine tradition.
Mortdecai is released 23rd January.
