Morgan Freeman is the latest name to join the cast of upcoming comedy Ted 2.
Ted 2 is a sequel to the 1012 hit and will see Seth MacFarlane back in the director's chair and bringing the title character to life.
Mark Wahlberg is also back as John Bennett, and Variety have reported that Freeman is now on board as a civil rights lawyer who will defend Ted.
Freeman is the latest high profile name to join that cast, after it was announced that Amanda Seyfried was on board earlier this summer.
Ted was a critical and commercial hit when it was released back in 2012, as it went on to gross in excess of $549 million at the global box office.
As for Freeman, he is currently enjoying box office success with Lucy: a film that sees him team up with Scarlett Johansson.
Freeman is also set to reprise the role of Dr Cameron McCarthy in Dolphin Tale 2, and has finished work on We The People and Last Knights.
The actor is also set to star in London Has Fallen - the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen - where he will return to the role of Speaker Trumbull alongside Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart.
Ted 2 is set to hit the big screen 10th July 2015.
