Monsters University is closing in on the $500 million mark at the global box office.
Monsters University is the latest film offering from animation giants Pixar and is the first time that we have seen Mike and Sulley on the big screen since 2001.
Dan Scanlon is in the director's chair this time around as we go back to their university days and discover how they met.
So far the film has taken in excess of $474 million at the world wide box office in the couple of weeks that it has been on release.
The film is also closing in on the $562 million made by Monsters, Inc back in 2001.
Billy Crystal and John Goodman are back as Mike and Sulley while Helen Mirren, Alfred Molina and Nathan Fillion are some of the new additions to the cast list.
Monsters University has already topped the U.S. box office and is set to be a hit in the UK as well.
