Michael Fassbender has heaped praise on Justin Kurzel calling him a 'fantastic director'.
Fassbender has just worked with Kurzel for the first time on Macbeth, and now they are going to reunite on Assassin's Creed.
The movie, which is based on the popular video game, has been in the pipeline for some time and Fassbender is still attached to the central role in the film.
Speaking to IGN about Kurzel, the actor said: "I just think that there’s one thing Justin should be doing, and that’s directing.
"I know that from working with him on Macbeth. He’s just fantastic in terms of his vision. Adam, the DP that he works with, is amazing.
"They’ve got a great shorthand - that’s essential. He’s fantastic with actors and each department. He’s a real heavyweight."
Fassbender has already enjoyed huge success in 2014, with the likes of X-Men: Days of Future Past, Frank and 12 Years A Slave under his belt.
He has also completed work on Slow West, Macbeth, and an untitled Terrence Malick film.
Assassin's Creed remains in pre-production, but has a UK release date of 6th August 2015.
