Michael Fassbender may star in Western film 'Slow West'.
The 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' actor is in talks to reunite with See-Saw Films' Emile Sherman and Stuart Canning on a new production, which is expected to be a co-production between New Zealand and Britain.
Not much is known about the plot for 'Slow West', but the New Zealand Film Commission is thought to be investing in the movie, along with Britain's DMC Film.
The flick will be directed by John Maclean, who is a former member of Scottish rockers, The Beta Band.
The Irish star previously starred in See-Saw movie 'Shame', which earned him an Oscar nomination, and he is teaming up with the company again for a new take on classic Shakespeare story, 'Macbeth'.
Busy Fassbender has two new films set for release in the coming months - the Oscar-tipped '12 Years a Slave', which marks a reunion with 'Shame' director Steve McQueen, and 'The Counsellor'. Both movies co-star Brad Pitt.
Next year, Fassbender will be seen reprising his role as a younger Magneto in superhero blockbuster 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', which will also star Sir Ian McKellen as the elder Magneto, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry and James McAvoy.
