Michael Cera has described a Superbad sequel as 'not really necessary'.
Superbad hit the big screen back in 2007 starring Cera, Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse to huge success.
And while I am sure fans would love to see the trio back the actor reveals that a sequel has never even been discussed.
Speaking to Screenrant the actor said: "I personally don’t like sequels, but the idea has never been discussed.
"I think it’s not really necessary for that story. But I don’t think people make sequels because they’re necessary, really. I think there are other reasons."
Cera is back on the big screen this summer in Crystal Fairy - he did made a cameo appearance in comedy This Is The End.
He has also reprised the role of George Michael Bluth as Arrested Development returned to TV screens.
