Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) may be facing an uphill battle in life, but that doesn’t stop the boxer from doing his all to balance his personal obligations and training for his next big fight. Quickly coming to discover the ties that his next opponent has to his family, Creed’s willingness to get in the ring and battle only intensifies, but with Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) by his side, the pair will question what truly is worth fighting for, realising that family are the number one importance in life.
This week, Warner Bros. UK have put out the official first trailer for Creed II, and the film looks to be a slugfest, packed full of emotion, drama, and of course a sprinkling of chaos. You can check out the first look teaser below:
Directed by Steven Caple Jr., Creed II will show that sometimes, you have to go back to basics if you’re to make a success of yourself. Rediscovering what truly makes you a champion in your field, the movie sets out to prove that no matter where you go, your history is something you cannot escape.
Jordan and Stallone are two members of an all-star cast which also includes Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, Andre Ward, Florian ‘The Big Nasty’ Munteanu, Dolph Lundgren, and Russell Hornsby. Stallone wrote the screenplay for the flick, also serving as a producer alongside Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler, and Kevin King-Templeton.
Jordan meanwhile serves as an executive producer alongside Ryan Coogler and Guy Riedel.
Creed II comes to cinemas across the UK on November 30, 2018.
